Luke
Managing Director & Lead Carpenter
Luke studied and completed an NVQ in Carpentry (Level 2).
He is a highly experienced Carpenter and has been on the tools since 2006 working for several family-run construction firms.
His skillset expanded into Loft Conversions in 2013 and so Lilywood was born.
Luke comes highly recommended as seen in our reviews on our website and trade profiles (i.e. Checkatrade and Trustrader).
Callum
Carpenter
Callum was first introduced to the company via a friend, whilst he was studying Level 2 Carpentry at College. He was Lilywood’s first Apprentice.
When asked, Callum said, “Working for Lilywood has been good over the years. The job itself can be hard at times but the team help push through and make it enjoyable. What’s great too is that you get to travel in and around London, seeing new area and houses all whilst working through new challenges.”
One day Callum would like to invest in one of his own properties and be able to build a loft conversion with the Lilywood Team.
Callum has been with Lilywood since 2014.
Sacha
Company Secretary / Head of Marketing
Sacha has been working at Lilywood since 2024.
Previously a Talent Coordinator for TV Production Company Lifted Entertainment (previously known as ITV Studios Entertainment). Sacha moved over to Lilywood to support her husband Luke (MD of Lilywood), attracting and managing enquiries, running the Apprenticeship programme to managing the website and social media accounts.
Sacha says, “Despite the fact I have broadcasting experience, my skillset is easily transferable to this role as I previously managed the work experience programme at ITV Studios and assisted with posting on their social media accounts. Other areas were new to me but i’ve really grown in this role and it’s great to have that flexible work/life balance. I am also use to working with people from all walks of life from my casting days in TV, so I get to continue to enjoy meeting new people (customers) when I visit our lofts to take photos and film reels for our socials.”
Sacha is looking forward to continuing to help other entry level Carpenters on the Apprenticeship programme and to also experience a bit of her old work life, transferred into attending more promo shoots on Lilywoods finished lofts.
Stephen
Junior Carpenter (Apprentice)
Stephen interviewed for the Junior Carpenter Apprentice position through our partner College Barnet & Southgate back in 2024 and successfully obtained the position.
When asked about working for Lilywood Stephen said, “Working for Lilywood is great and I have come to know the guys really well. The best thing about working for Lilywood is the fact I get to work with new people regularly and enjoy it because of the team I work with. It helps me get out of my comfort zone as well as doing something I enjoy and i’m interested in.”
Stephen is looking forward to becoming a qualified Junior Carpenter at the end of his studies this Summer (2026).
