Lilywood are here for you throughout every step of the loft conversion process, from; booking reliable trades-people such as; Electricians to Decorators, as well as assisting with required applications such as; building control and arranging their essential visits.
After our initial consultation visit and sending you our free quote, we do offer a visit to a previous customers home (near you). By connecting potential clients with past customers who are usually traceable professionals like; Teachers or Lawyers, this gives you the opportunity to ask questions and hear genuine feedback. You can also start to envision what your loft will look like against the work that Lilywood has produced in the previous clients home.

Lilywood is a family run business with nearly 20 years experience in the loft conversion industry. We pride ourselves in the high standard of work that we produce and are proud to offer a service that is affordable and reasonable.
We are thankful to our clients for choosing us and we take pride in creating a rapport that we continue to maintain with them during and after building the loft conversion.
We work across North, West and East London, Hertfordshire and Essex. If you are slightly further a field we are happy to discuss whether our team are able to travel to you.
At Lilywood, we are not aiming for a finish that is a ‘pass’. We are aiming for a recommendation from every loft that we build. About 80% of the work that we do is on recommendation. Which shows that we are reliable, trustworthy and produce a good quality of work that clients are happy to promote. Which is also proven with previous clients allowing us back into their homes to offer new clients a tour of the work we have produced.
The most positive feedback we receive from clients is that we are respectful around families, we tidy up at the end of each day and keep communication open to avoid surprises.
In terms of our building schedule, Lilywood’s build time ranges from 6-8 weeks. We are a small team so we build one loft project at a time. Our Lead Carpenter and Project Manager Luke is on site 75% of the time, and most of the time during the build stage. We make sure the customer gets a very good service out of us.
Lastly, if you book with us we can guarantee transparency when it comes to your quote. We will always ensure everything in your quote is detailed and includes items such as; sockets and spotlights. Some builders leave essentials out to look cheaper upfront. We always visit a property in person too, so we know what to put in the quote. Be cautious of loft firms who quote without even seeing your home. For example, if upgraded fire doors are needed for building regulations, that should be factored into the quote. Our quotations are thoughtful, comprehensive and transparent.
